COICA Bill to censor the internet

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-3804

This bill is in the first step in the legislative process. Introduced bills and resolutions first go to committees that deliberate, investigate, and revise them before they go to general debate. The majority of bills and resolutions never make it out of committee. [Last Updated: Nov 16, 2010 6:52AM]

10 Ways on How to Improve Writing Skills

1. Learn From Good Writers-

Try to think of a time when you read something that really inspired you or really caught your imagination. Use examples and passages from your favorite writers or favorite books to try to replicate what you felt when you first read them.

2. Slay Writer's Block-

Try a different approach at writing, such as writing a letter to someone, try not to focus on writing the article too much, think of your writing as if you were going to explain a story to someone and you were going to write it down first.

3. Note Your Common Mistakes and Skip Them-

Try not to let your spelling mistakes get in the way of your writing flow, if you come across a word that you know you misspell frequently, skip ahead and don't loose your writing juice.

4. Remember What You're Writing For-

What is the reason you are writing for, what are you hoping the end-result is, keep in mind what you want and what inspired you to the writing to begin with.

5. Try Paper and Pen for a Change-

Try writing on real pen and paper and not just on your computer. Sometimes inspiration can strike in places where you don't normally have technology nearby, such as in your car waiting in traffic, pull out your pen and paper in these situations and write whatever you feel you can.

6. Organize Thoughts Before Writing-

Keep organized, use branches or webs or whatever works for you, organize your ideas, plots, characters and then just paint the picture with your writing abilities, with structures and organization patterns down to cue you already have half the battle won.

7. Set a Schedule-

Try keeping a regular writing time throughout the day, this will help your mind get focused and eventually you will train yourself to become the best writer you can be within a day in that time period, just like people wake up naturally without alarm clocks, your brain will magically know that it is time to write and apply all the skills you have been learning in on focused specific time, every day.

8. Keep Up With Vocabulary-

There are many good sites with writers tools such as rhyme dictionary or a thesaurus, you can use any of these tools online to increase your vocabulary and help broaden your writing capabilities

9. Journal-

Find time to just write freely and let yourself just write whatever comes to your mind. The purpose of this is to just write however you can fluently write, a journal is not edited a journal is just jots of ideas and things you did throughout the day, journals can help you become a better more fluent writer.

10. Try Different Writing Software-

Try writing with different types of software that help you define who you are as a writer... Some programs let you customize the font and the backgrounds and everything down to taking up the whole screen for just writing, some programs may work better for you than others.

French Prime Minister François Fillon Resigns

This could spell trouble for France, sounds exciting though, party hard!

EDIT: On other sites I have gathered that the prime minister was indeed a schlump and trying to raise the retirement age and the people didn't like that so they all eventually protested and the guy just gave up and resigned. Other sources saying the taliban had something to do with it but it didn't really make sense...

Windows Phone 7 Marketplace lets you peek at any app's source code

"It has just been discovered that it's possible to download any Windows Phone 7 XAP full application package directly from Microsoft's Marketplace server -- no need to use a Windows Phone 7 device or the Zune application. This is possible because the Zune application uses Atom XML feeds to get the applications' information, so it's fairly easy to grab a direct link to the full app package just by looking at the XML. Once you have the XAP, you can unzip it and get access to all the assets and resources that app uses. And, by using a tool such as Reflector, you may even get to peek at the app's source code. One thing of note is that the XAP can't be installed on a retail WP7 handset, although it can be used in an emulator."

My latest instrumental

Rumble In The Bronx by tellakyn

Made this one trying to experiment in a MPC or MPD workflow environment, turned out alright but definitely could be better, oh well only took about 20 mins to make, I will make some more instrumentals as soon as I can and try to post videos of my workflow producing them live.

Iron Maiden - The Trooper

This is my favorite Iron Maiden song, it reminds me of a war between people trying to impose their will on others ignorantly without realizing those who live by the sword die by it eventually, certain death, there is no turning back, always waiting for the next attack, epic song.
